Day 1
Paro | Stunning Vistas
Arrive at Paro airport and drive to your hotel. After check-in, visit the National Museum of Bhutan. Afterwards, drive to Kyichu Lhakhang, an 8th -century temple that houses one of the holiest treasures of Paro Valley – an 8th – century statue of Jowo Jampa (Future Buddha). In the evening, visit floodlit Rinpung Dzong and enjoy the sunset from its perch. Overnight in Paro.
Day 2
Paro, Vows Renewal | The Bond of a Lifetime
Dress up in traditional Bhutanese attire and renew your wedding vows in an elaborate Buddhist ceremony at Aum Chencho Farmhouse. Afterwards, enjoy a special lunch and spend the evening at leisure. Overnight in Paro.
Day 3
Paro, Tiger’s Nest | The National Icon
Hike to famous Tiger’s Nest Monastery and savour the breathtaking vistas from the top. Afterwards, try your hand at archery, the national sport of Bhutan. In the evening, enjoy a relaxing hot-stone bath at your hotel. Overnight in Paro.
Day 4
Paro – Dochu La – Punakha
Drive to Punakha via Dochu La, a mountain pass that offers spectacular views of Bhutan Himalayas. At Dochu La, visit Druk Wangyal Lhakhang and 108 chortens built to commemorate fallen soldiers. Upon reaching Punakha, visit majestic Punakha Dzong. Overnight in Punakha.
Day 5
Punakha
Start your day by receiving special fertility blessings at Chimi Lhakhang, a temple dedicated to saint Drukpa Kunley who made a name for himself by employing unconventional methods for teaching Buddhism. Hike to Khamsum Yulley Namgyal Temple and enjoy beautiful views of Punakha Valley from there. In the afternoon, drive to Talo Village and take a walk through the village and surrounding pine and cedar forests. On your way back, stop at Sangchhen Dorji Lhuendrup Nunnery, famous for its Nepali-style stupa and sensational views of Punakha Valley. Overnight in Punakha.
Day 6
Punakha – Phobjikha/Gangtey |The Winter Roost of Black-necked Cranes
Drive through a scenic route next to Dang Chhu to Phobjikha/ Gangtey. Visit famous Gangteng Gompa and Black-necked Crane Information Centre. Later, hike the Gangtey Nature Trail and enjoy the views of the valley from the trail. Overnight in Phobjikha/Gangtey.
Day 7
Phobjikha/Gangtey – Thimphu | The Capital
Drive to Thimphu and, en route, stop at Dochu La and hike to Hike to Lungchutse Gompa, a temple dedicated to a local deity Tashi Barwa. In Thimphu, visit Simply Bhutan Museum, a 150-year-old farmhouse renovated and redesigned to depict the traditional Bhutanese way of life. If your trip coincides with the weekend then visit Thimphu’s famous Weekend Market. End your day with a visit to majestic Tashichhoedzong, the highlight of Thimphu Valley. Overnight in Thimphu.
Day 8
Thimphu |The Gems of the Valley
Hike around Kuensel Phrodrang Nature Park and visit Great Buddha Dordenma, an enormous statue of Shakyamuni Buddha and the gorgeous temple at its base. Afterwards, drive to Motithang Takin Preserve, to see Takin, the oddball national animal of Bhutan. Visit Memorial Chorten, a major landmark of the city and an important place for daily worship. .Visit the major museums of Thimphu – Postal Museum, National Textile Museum, and National Institute of Zorig Chusum. Visit Jungshi Handmade Paper Factory and learn about the ancient process of papermaking. Later, visit Authentic Crafts Bazaar where you can find a wide variety of traditional hand-made Bhutanese handicrafts. Take a leisurely stroll around the Thimphu market and Thimphu Clock Tower Square. Overnight in Thimphu.
Day 9
Thimphu – Chele La – Paro
Drive to Chele La and, on the way, stop at Kila Gompa, the oldest nunnery in Bhutan and Dzongdrakha Gompa. Continue to Chele La and enjoy gorgeous views of rugged hills and distant Haa Valley. Overnight in Paro.
Day 10
Farewell
Drive to Paro Airport to fly home.

Once you confirm your trip, send us a scan of your passport at least 2 weeks prior to the planned date of arrival. Visa is issued by Tourism Council of Bhutan once full payment of your vacation has been received. We will send you the copy of your visa via email which you will have to produce at the airport along with your valid passport on arrival. Citizens of India, Bangladesh and Maldives can obtain route permit upon arrival at the port of entry; however, they are required to carry their passports or a state issued valid Voter’s Card.

In order to safeguard the cultural ethos and environment of the country, Royal Government of Bhutan regulates the volume of travellers through the policy of “high value low impact” tourism. This ensures that a limited number of tourists visit the kingdom and receive best service. As a part of the policy, the government has fixed a Daily Minimum Package for all travellers visiting Bhutan. The tariff for this trek is as follows:
USD 250 per person per night. This cost includes:

- Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
- Transport for Local Transfers
- Camping Equipment and Porter Services for Treks
- Taxes and Charges
- USD 65 as Sustainable Development Fees
- Entry Fees for all Tourist Sites
